Cincinnati’s Unique Date Spots

Planning a wedding can be time consuming, stressful, and expensive! Taking a break from it all and enjoying a night out with your significant other is a great way to relax and have some fun! The Center  is here to help and has created a list of some unique date spots right here in Cincinnati.

1. Findlay Market

Located in urban, historic Over-the-Rhine district, Findlay Market is the state’s oldest public market. Containing over 40 indoor merchants, numerous outdoor vendors, weekly farmer’s markets, and several street performers; Findlay market is known for selling all local, fresh, specialty foods. It is truly unique to Cincinnati. Offering a fun and diverse atmosphere, Findlay Market makes for a great, exciting date activity!

2. Brewery Tour

Cincinnati is home of one of the largest historic brewery districts. Tastings and tours include beautiful, old age architecture with underground tunnels and cellars used during the prohibition. This fun date idea also has an extended addition, for couples who wish to make this an all-day date. Cincinnati’s unique Craft Connection Tour gives guests the opportunity to visit up to four different breweries, while the courtesy van shuttles you from place to place. Typical breweries on this route include Urban Artifact, Madtree Brewing Company, and 50 West Brewing Company.

3. Cincinnati Art Museum

The Cincinnati Art Museum is an extraordinary place to go and explore your creative side. Housing over 60,000 pieces of art, it has something appealing for everyone. The museum is constantly changing and getting new exhibits, keeping it different and exciting. This fall they are showcasing Van Gogh’s incredible collection. The art museum also hosts a variety of unique events like Art after Dark, which takes place the last Friday of every month. This event is an open-house gallery with complimentary appetizers, live music, and a cash bar for endless date night entertainment!

4. The Incline House

The Incline House is located above Cincinnati’s Price Hill, offering one of the best views in the city. Their dining room features an entire, panoramic wall of windows, overlooking Downtown Cincinnati and The Ohio River. Not only is the outlook from the restaurant breathtaking, but the food is amazing as well. The menu gives such a diverse and widespread variety that even the pickiest of eaters can find something to enjoy! Overall, The Incline House makes for the perfect dinner date location.

5. Go Bananas Comedy Club

Go Bananas Comedy Club, locally owned and operated, has been providing live stand-up comedy in Cincinnati for the past 25+ years. The club has hosted several of stand-up’s biggest stars including: Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh, and Doug Stanhope. In addition to booking established headliners, Go Bananas also supports emerging talent. They arrange countless events ranging from Open Mic Nights, Film Festivals, the ever-popular Funniest Person in Cincinnati Contest, and the annual Cincinnati Brew Ha-Ha Beer and Comedy Festival. This fun and relaxed environment is sure to provide a memorable experience!
