Luis & Shandyn is a couple that epitomizes love. Just by looking at them interact you can tell how much they care for each other. One of the best parts about the two? They can be goofy together! Which is perfectly described by their cake, which gives a subtle hint of a grooms cake on the bottom tier.
Another great thing we loved about this couple is they took full advantage of our oversized window looking out to Fountain Square by saying their “I Do’s” right in front of it. After their ceremony, with family members, a wedding assistant and the caterer lending a helping hand, the ballroom was transformed into their reception. Of course, it seemed only appropriate to have the bride and groom sit right in front of that same window where an hour earlier they exchanged their vows.
Lanterns then hung from the ceiling beams as they toasted and danced the night away. And we aren’t kidding when we say “danced the night away.” This wedding party could get down! Starting at 11:00pm, with only an hour left to go, La Hora Loca started. La Hora Loca is a Columbian tradition that is meant to rejuvenate the energy of the reception and get people up and dancing with only an hour left to celebrate. We have to admit, we even started dancing away on the sidelines. What a great way to end an even better day!
