The Center and Village Pantry Catering recently teamed up to host an event where guests could meet some fabulous local vendors while enjoying delicious food. Named, only appropriately, as an Eat and Greet, guests got to test out the vendors’ services.
First and foremost, Village Pantry Catering provided great food as guests mingled throughout our dome and ballroom. With a variety of vegetables, sandwiches and their famous bacon bow ties to choose from, we could always find a couple individuals hanging around the food stations.
Although their bacon bowties, which are featured in one of our previous blog posts, are nothing short of amazing, they weren’t the only things making waves during our Eat and Greet; what seemed like a normal cheeseburger turned into something so much more. We first learned that this cheeseburger had bacon on it, which is enough to make us weak in the knees, but then we found out it was topped with peanut butter and jelly. WHAT?! A peanut butter and jelly bacon cheeseburger?! You better believe it. Though we aren’t sure on it’s exact name, we called them “heavenly” all night.
While Village Pantry provided the amazing food, Prime Time Party Rentals helped transform The Center into an elegant reception space. Providing an LED-bar, which we lite up with our signature blue, Prime Time also donated beautiful grey linens. This allowed our brides to see the dome room setup similarly to what they envision for their dream receptions. With our cocktail tables scattered about, guests roamed to try samples from a few other vendors including Maribelle Cakery and Streetpops.
Maribelle Cakery was handing out samples of cake while displaying their own cake works of art. From chocolate to raspberry to hazelnut to delicious, we know why this Cakery is loved by many. Once your mouth was full of cake, guests were able to head over to the bar and try a drink served with an ice pop.
Streetpops is a local vendor which sells ice pops made from fresh ingredients. Say goodbye to high-fructose corn syrup, Streetpops makes you feel good about eating an ice pop. Keep an eye out for an upcoming blog post featuring this one-of-a-kind vendor!
While you sip on your champagne topped off with a pear-flavored streetpop, guests could make their way into the ballroom and BAM! They are hit with sparkle galore. Prime Time provided gorgeous navy sparkle linens, candle abras with crystal globes, and white lounge furniture to really set the mood. From here, brides were drawn to Dirty Helen Paper Co. as they displayed handfuls of colorful invites, save-the-dates and more.
Dirty Helen helped make this event a reality by designing our Eat and Greet invitations and signage. We literally could not have held this event without their help! For those brides who are in the very beginning stages of planning, we definitely recommend looking into Dirty Helen Paper Co. for all your signage needs.
Party Pleasers also helped make our event a hit with their uplighting. Offering multiple color options, their lights can transform The Center from a blank canvas to a hip-happening party. While the lights set the tone, the music kept the party going. Party Pleasers played songs throughout the night that we couldn’t help but dance to.
While brides danced to the grooves put on by Party Pleasers, Fyrfly Photography took photos and demonstrated what this photography company is all about. Fyrefly focuses on capturing the fun, candid shots that show guests in the moment. While the candid shots are enjoyable, they are also able to provide beautiful, still photos that portray the emotions of the big day.
Moving from the photographer to the photobooth, guests could then stop by TapSnap. Of course, we don’t have to go into much detail of TapSnap, as we wrote a previous blog post on them, but this photo experience is one for the books. Guests could not get enough of the tap, snap, and share feature! Check out what they have to offer by reading our Vendor Spotlight post.
We would love to give a big THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all the vendors who made our Eat and Greet a smashing success. We encourage all of our readers to check out these vendors as you’re planning your next event!
